Errors should be visible, specific, and fixable.

WSI distinguishes cosmetic, metadata, data, and method-level corrections. Material changes create a new version rather than a silent replacement.

How a correction is handled

1

Verify

Identify the exact page, file, source, value, or wording.

2

Classify

Determine whether the issue is cosmetic, explanatory, data-related, or methodological.

3

Correct and record

Issue a patch or new version and notify affected users when material.

Administrative and substantive changes

FIES public documents reissued as v1.1

The Public Brief, Full Report, and Technical Note were reissued under new filenames to remove outdated pre-deployment wording and identify them as public releases. No scientific result, source record, mapping, duration assumption, table, or interpretation changed.

No open material correction is listed

This applies only to issues currently known and verified by WSI; it is not a guarantee that every page is error-free.

Useful correction report

Include the URL or filename, disputed text or value, supporting source, and why it matters.
